The VP of E-Commerce is a strategic position that is responsible for leading
aggressive e-commerce expansion via brand e-commerce websites, multichannel
retailers, and pure play partners such as Amazon. You will define the strategic
roadmap to develop a best-in-class e-commerce capability that drives significant and
profitable business growth.
Moreover, you will collaborate with internal and cross-
functional partners to develop the strategy and lead execution of strategic pillars across
all aspects of the e-commerce business including P&L management, business
planning, content strategy and development, frictionless path-to-purchase,
promotional/marketing campaigns and other online marketing, customer service,
analytics and technologies. Incumbent will possess strong e-commerce skills, broad
business acumen, and operate with a general manager mindset.
Job Responsabilities

Establish an entrepreneurial environment to maximize brand site revenue.

Create a strategic & tactical plan that will drive e-commerce revenue growth,
partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations, and Financial leaders.

Spearhead all related e-commerce business functions including merchandising,
promotions, fulfillment, forecasting, contract negotiations, and financial
performance.

Drive business development by identifying new e-commerce channels through which
to sell United Sports Brands products.

Possess a thorough understanding of our e-commerce P&L and identify risks and
contingency plans.

Develop a plan to increase e-commerce revenue through existing channels.

Oversee the talent management process with an emphasis on succession planning
and professional development of staff. Lead, coach and develop members of the
team.

Identify, execute, and manage strategic partnerships internally and externally that
support the overall e-commerce strategy.

Ensure all business, functional, and technical requirements pertaining to the
execution of e-commerce initiatives are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Maintain an in-depth understanding of emerging e-commerce industry and channel
specific standards and best practices.

Provide strategic thought leadership towards product development and packaging
opportunities as it relates to the e-commerce channel.

Develop appropriate analytical frameworks, reporting, and tools to measure the ROI
and track effectiveness of all merchandising, marketing, and operational efforts.

Determine appropriate investment strategies to build capabilities (technology, supply
chain, & digital marketing) supporting e-commerce revenue and profitability plans.

Recruit & develop a best-in-class e-commerce team.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of revenue growth via E-Comm site.
- Min 8 years of relevant experience, including 4+ years of e-commerce leadership
experience and P&L management

Deep understanding of digital technologies and best practices, including those
related to e-commerce, digital marketing, digital content management, analytic tools
and online fulfillment.

Magento 1 with familiarity of Magento 2

Experience managing marketing spend on a variety of platforms, (Google, Facebook,
remarketing, etc.)

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JS

Proficient at analytics – primarily Google Analytics

Strong understanding of security & best practices
